I’ve spent the majority of my career in the trenches of emergency medicine — the middle-of-the-night stats, the unpredictable cases, the moments that teach you more in minutes than textbooks could in years. Out of that chaos, I built not just resilience, but a philosophy: veterinarians deserve mentorship that’s relatable, practical, and empowering.

In 2020, I started The Modern Vet YouTube channel, sharing study strategies and NAVLE prep videos that reached thousands of vet students, new vet grads and vet nurses worldwide. What began as a side project grew into a community which is proof that there’s a deep need for guidance beyond the classroom!
